Applications:

• SCILIA MS 7046-S is a light-colored cutting oil that is suitable for a wide variety of machining requirements.

• SCILIA MS 7046 S is designed for all cutting operations on ferrous metals: low carbon steels, stainless steel alloys, hard and very hard steels (bearing steels), on tensile steels. NOT TO BE USED on copper alloy metals (stain risk on work pieces after cutting operations). This product contains active sulfur.

• Operations include: severe machining operations such as drilling, turning, screw cutting, broaching, gear cutting, threading, tapping, milling, turning, sawing, reaming, and boring. Applications of broaching, tapping and threading are when the metals or alloys have a machinability rating below 50%.
