Applications:

• OSYRIS 6407 S is a solvent and petroleum oil based rust preventative. It is designed to leave a light waxy/oil film for positive indoor rust protection up to 12 months on metal surfaces and precision parts.
• OSYRIS 6407 S is non-staining, water displacing, resists oxidation, and is applicable on all metals. It can be applied by conventional brush, dip, or spray methods.
• Uses include: preservative for work in progress, idle or stored machine tools, parts, dies, fixtures, instruments, gauges, jigs, or bearings. It is primarily recommended for the lubrication of moving parts, such as industrial chains and cables.

Advantages:

• Easily removed from parts with petroleum solvents, by vapor degreasing, or alkaline cleaners (130oF).
